Weight training is a type of strength training that provides a great way to get in shape, it can make you stronger, more lean and make you feel better overall.
I would use dumbbells with each of these movements so that the stronger side can't help out the weaker side. Well hopefully the answer is obvious to you now, if you want to be able to train with a large amount of varying weights then the adjustable ones are for you, however they are normally slightly more expensive.
